Celebration Of World Glaucoma Week
What is Glaucoma?
Glaucoma is an eye disease that causes the pressure in the eye to go high and damages the optic nerve and causes eye vision loss and blindness.
Glaucoma is the second leading cause of blindness in the world, according to the World Health Organization.
The hospital joined the rest of the world to celebrate the WORLD GLAUCOMA WEEK which took place from 11th March to 15th March, 2019 with sensitization lectures and free Medical Eye Screening Exercises.
During this week the hospital was crowded with people from different places for the free Medical Eye Screening.
