CONDOLENCES ON THE DEATH OF ONE OF OUR BENEFACTORS

We received with deep shock and sadness the news of the death of Pioneer bishop, and now Bishop Emeritus of the Catholic Diocese of Orlu, Imo State, Most Rev. Dr. Gregory Ochiagha. He was aged 88. Ochiagha died on December 29, 2020 at a ripe age of 89. He was buried on January 12, 2021 at the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Orlu, Nigeria, a magnificent edifice he built while serving as the bishop of Orlu diocese.

Bishop Ochiagha was very instrumental to the development of our hospital project.  He was the Bishop of our diocese during the early stages, and greatly supported us immensely.

Bishop Ochiagha is amongst the recipients of our Wall of Honour Awards, and one of our hospital buildings is also dedicated to him
