A new laundry building was commissioned in 2015. The laundry and linen
services is responsible for providing a clean and constant supply of
linen to all patients which are also to be kept in stock. The hospital
has fully automatic washing machines and driers and this ensures all
linens are appropriately cleaned. The basic tasks include: sorting,
washing, drying, ironing, folding, mending of hospital linens and
clothing. Standard linen protocols are observed and transportation and
sorting of laundry done in line with international best practices.
