Founders Day 2018

The hospital celebrated its 2018 Founder’s Day and 5 Years Anniversary Of its Inauguration on the 30th Of November 2018.
The ceremony started with a medical symposium which was led by Professor Kingsley Opara – a professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery. In attendance were other medical professionals from varied fields of medicine and other representatives of pharmaceutical industries and major players in the healthcare sector.
The symposium centered on things to do to replicate the Indian miracle here in Umuowa and things to put in place to see to this success. There were contributions and discussions from participants.
Other activities of the day were the exposure of vision 2025 and addresses by the founder Rev Fr Dr Sergius Duru who was represented by the Very Rev Msgr Polycarp Ibebuike.
The highlight was the staff performance awards which saw some members of staff winning some awards.
Awards were for:
1. Most punctual staff. Ms Ogbuji Ann
2. Best Nursing Staff. Mrs Nwachukwu C
3. Best Clinical staff (non nursing) PT Ezeilo. C
4. Best Non clinical staff. Ms Onwuhaa C
5. Extra Mile Award Mr Uche Anokwute
6. Best Student Award. Ms Amadoo N.

The award were in varied large capacity gift items.

There were also presentations and others

The next day was a jogging to Physiotherapy centre and exercise at the centre by 7am.

Activities were concluded today with a thanksgiving mass in the hospital.
