FOUNDER’S DAY EVENT AND THE COMMISIONING OF THE DIALYSIS AND ICU UNITS, 2020
Theme: Kidney Health for the Community.
Today, being the 27th of November, we celebrate the 17th Anniversary of the founding, development, and progress of our hospital. We acknowledge the unreserved philanthropic support of our founder, Rev. Fr. Dr. Sergius Nnamdi Duru. His magnanimity made this day possible by ensuring a well grounded link between the community and donors from within and largely, outside the country. This celebration provides also a reflection of how everyone’s unified contribution has projected us from the very scratch to the robust and vibrant system that we have become as a globally recognised hospital.
Our ability to complete and commission a world class Dialysis Unit, Intensive Care Units and C-arm modular theatre unit, despite the adverse effects of covid-19 on the nation’s economy and the world at large, has made this year founder’s day celebration very remarkable and highly distinguished. Therefore, the reason for the theme today “Kidney Health for the Community”.
The above Units were commissioned by Dr. Samson Ejikunle (NMA Chairman, Orlu zone) and Dr. Bright Chukwunta (The president of Association of Resident Doctors, IMSUTH).
