ST. MARY’S CHILDREN AND COMMUNITY HOSPITAL CELEBRATES WORLD SIGHT DAY 14 OCTOBER, 2021

World Sight Day (WSD) is an international day of awareness held every October that focuses on the global issue of eye health. It is annually held on every second Thursday of October, to address the global attention on vision impairment, including blindness.

In what is set to be the most ambitious World Sight Day campaign ever, IAPB and its members are calling on everyone to focus on their eye health in a global campaign – #LoveYourEyes.

St. Mary’s Children and Community Hospital Umuowa has a team of highly-skilled eye doctors (both ophthalmologist and optometrist) we offer top-notch preventive, curative and rehabilitative eye care services that address the eye care needs of patients. We also offer eye care devices such as eye glasses prescription, contact lenses, sunglasses, safety wears and other eye products.

As a way of celebrating the World Sight Day, St. Mary’s Hospital (from 12th to 16th October) offered FREE EYE sight test, EXAM, and SCREENING for their patients.
