SUCCESSFUL EXPLORATORY LAPAROTOMY ON A FOUR DAYS OLD BABY – JULY, 2022

Our combined team of Surgeons performed an outstanding Exploratory Laparotomy on a four days old baby recently in our hospital.

After the successful surgery, the baby was managed in our hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for two weeks under 24 hours surveillance by our pediatric nurses.

He made good recovery and was discharged home in stable condition.

He has fully recovered and currently very stable and reunited with his family.

The mother who has already given up hope expressed her sincere appreciation to our hospital medical team, especially the nurses who took care of the baby till they were discharged.

Our hospital has the only standard functional world-class level III NICU in the region, highly equipped with qualified Medical Team, and nurses caring for newborns who need more advanced care.
