ST. MARY’S CHILDREN AND COMMUNITY HOSPITAL UMUOWA FOUNDER’S DAY 2021

On the 26th of November, 2021, St. Mary’s Children and Community Hospital Umuowa celebrated its annual Founder’s Day with the Theme; Heralding a New Era. This event is usually marked every year in the hospital to celebrate the Founder of this great hospital, a rare gem, a great achiever, and a pacesetter, the day is always focused on giving and impacting the life of people.

Students of Secondary Technical College Umuowa were invited for this occasion. The event started with a mass celebration by Rev. Fr. Tochukwu Anumudu, immediately after the mass there was a Health talk on Personal Hygiene which was anchored by the matron of the hospital Mrs. Agu Gloria and a Seminar on Substance Abuse which was presented by Dr. Adiukwu Ebenezer.

During a short interview with the Deputy Senior Prefect of the school, she expressed her sincere gratitude to the hospital especially to the founder of the hospital in her words “this hospital is one of a kind and today they have given us a great privilege and we promise to put all we have learnt today into practice”.
